This just in! The official music video for Michael Christopher’s song “DNA” will premiere on The Country Network on Monday, February 6, 2017. The song will be included in the network’s rotation, serving over 40 markets with a reach of over 33 million households across the country.
This is the second network premiere for “DNA”, which was recently premiered by CMT (Country Music Television) on cmt.com.
“We’re really excited that everyone is liking this song,” Michael says. “When we were writing and recording it, we just felt like there was something special about this one.”
Michael co-wrote “DNA” with Rand Bishop, a seasoned songwriter best known for his work on the No. 1 hit, “My List,” recorded and performed by Toby Keith. The video, directed by Darin DiNapoli, opens the story of the song up to imagination and interpretation of the viewer.”
“I think one of the best things about this song is that it can mean something different to every person who hears it, “ Michael says. “When filming the video, we wanted everyone to be able to relate to it, to hear the vocals and the music and feel the way they feel, not the way we want them to feel.”
