The Friends of Codorus State Park Board of Directors utilize all sponsorships and advertisements to operate the event. All proceeds raised benefit the park in numerous ways. In 2011, The Friends of Codorus State Park donated money for picnic tables, and helped with contributing to upgrade to the sound system at the Band Shell. In 2012, the raised funds were used to provide the park with a security system and new Band Shell curtains. In 2013, the proceeds were used for safety improvements at the park, pool and maintenance areas as well as a donation was made to Hanover Hospital to purchase a new trailer awning. In 2014 the Friends Group used the proceeds to build a new dock at the sailboat area, a new deck and new roof at the classroom building.
