Happy New Year! 2017 seems to have been a whirlwind for Michael Christopher. It was yet another exciting 12 months for he and the band. Early in the year was the digital release of Michael’s self-titled album. Following up on the video premier for “DNA,” the single was promoted to FM country stations across the country. In the summer, DNA hit number one on the New Music Weekly country airplay chart following a small radio tour.
Throughout the year the band played a wide variety of shows from intimate acoustic events to full band rocking concerts. These performances included casinos, festivals and fairs all across the northeast. Some of the highlights included opening for artists like Tyler Farr, Love and Theft, 38 Special and Walker Hayes.
2018 should prove to be another busy year for the Michael Christopher Band as the calendar is starting to fill up with some new shows in different locations! Additionally, recording for the next album is already underway! Stay tuned for the next music video to be released also. As always, Michael Christopher truly appreciates all of the new fans (and old) that are met along the way. Here’s to another fun year!
