Loveland Independence Day

The community celebration will begin at 4 p.m. and wrap up at 11 p.m. The festivities are located in Historic Downtown Loveland. If you can, try to walk or bike to the community celebration to help ease traffic congestion.

Kid Zone
Children’s activities will be available in Nisbet Park from 4 to 7 p.m.  Featuring Magican and Comedian Matthew David Stanley.

Food Trucks
Food Trucks will be at the event from 4 – 11 p.m.

  • Adena’s Beefstroll, little taste of Chicago, will be at Cappy’s Wine and Spirits
  • Quite Frankly, Gourmet style All Beef Franks, Fresh Ingredients & Mad Crazy combinations at Cindy’s Friendly Tavern
  • Fire on High will offer a variety of gourmet burgers, signature subs,tacos, wraps & comfort foods, all locally sourced and seasonally inspired, and can be found near City Hall.
  • Loveland Dairy Whip at Nisbet Park
  • Sweet Maize Kettle Corn at Nisbet Park

Parade 
The parade route will start at the Loveland Elementary School, 600 Loveland Madeira Road, travel down W. Loveland Avenue, and end at Second Street/St. Rt. 48.  Lineup begins at 6:15 p.m. and the parade will start at 7 p.m.

 

Live Music
The Michael Christopher Band will perform in the Amphitheater in Nisbet Park from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

 

Fireworks
The fireworks show produced by Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. The show can be viewed from around the downtown area, including Nisbet Park.  Other locations to watch fireworks include: Shopper’s Haven, Loveland High School, Bodley Park on Betty Ray Drive, Bible Believers Church, and near the intersections of Park Avenue & Riverside Drive.

Open Container District
Open container laws will be waived on July 4 from noon – 11 p.m. in the specified area below.
